Returns from the in-person library summer programming

St. Petersburg, FL (May 17, 2022) – Readers of all ages are invited to explore Oceans of Possibilities with the St. Petersburg Library System this summer.

Free educational summer programming will be offered from May 28 to July 30, 2022 with ocean-themed stories, presentations, crafts, activities and more for toddlers through teens – and kids. adults too. The nine-week offer encourages young people, as well as the young at heart, to continue reading and learning over the summer while school is closed. This year’s theme, Oceans of Possibilities, celebrates oceanography.

This will be the first year since 2019 that the St. Petersburg Library System’s summer programming will take place in person.

“We are thrilled to once again be able to offer free and engaging summer programming to the community. Now that we’re able to offer in-person summer programming again, the community can make the most of what St. Pete’s libraries have to offer,” said Mika Nelson, St. Petersburg.

Summer programming will begin at the Mirror Lake Community Library, where attendees can pick up a summer programming guide and take-home activities.
