Hankook Tire to supply two original equipment for Nissan Frontier 2022

Optimized for all-season functionality and on-road performance, the premium Dynapro HT offers riders longer tread wear, improved traction and low rolling resistance. Featuring snow kerf, multi-depth side crampons, and button and semi-solid ribs, the Dynapro HT is also designed for better traction in snow. Its unique tread is engineered with an optimized compound to deliver longer mileage and its wide tread increases grip for better highway handling and rolling resistance.

Offering a superior blend of overall performance, the Dynapro AT2 provides stronger traction in wet, dry and off-road conditions while reducing road noise and increasing ride comfort. Its 3 Peak Mountain Snowflake rating also offers strong traction in harsh winter conditions. The Dynapro AT2 offers longer tread life thanks to a larger, more advanced footprint, resulting in more even stress distribution and even wear.

The all-new Frontier design combines aggressive and modern styling and delivers best-in-class 310 horsepower and an on-the-fly shifting 4×4. Featuring a powerful front end with a massive grille, chiseled hood and precision locking headlamps as well as a 9-inch color touchscreen, standard Apple CarPlay® and Android AutoMT, the 2022 Frontier can take drivers from a work week in the city to a weekend of off-road adventure. Frontier 2022 is also the very first Nissan to offer Intelligent Panoramic View® Monitor with detection of moving objects and off-road mode.

“While the Nissan Frontier 2022 seeks to provide drivers with versatile on- and off-road performance, the Hankook Dynapro HT and Dynapro AT2 are the perfect equipment for the job,” said Jeongho Park, Senior Vice President, Hankook OE Division. “While the Dynapro HT offers riders balanced on-road performance, our Dynapro AT2 offers riders on-road comfort with additional off-road capabilities.”

“We are delighted to provide Nissan with two pieces of equipment for the redesigned 2022 Nissan Frontier,” said Moonwha Hong, VP of OE Development, Hankook Tire. “With their strong traction, excellent winter performance and superior comfort, the Dynapro HT and Dynapro AT2 will complement the Frontier’s on and off-road capabilities and its aggressive, modern look.”
