• Dean Oziah made a first appearance on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Oziah pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with an additional $15.75 and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.
• Adan Manzo Macias appeared for the first time on a violation of a provisional release charge. The provisional release is revoked. Bail is set at $15,000 in cash and must be paid by Manzo Macias.
Manzo Macias was also seen in possession of a controlled substance charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on June 24. Bail is set at $1,000 in cash. A substance abuse assessment is ordered and the results are submitted to the court.

Accidents
• On Thursday, June 9, a tractor-trailer driven by Justin Robert Juett, 26, of Victor, was traveling east on Highway 30 when it hit a deer that ran in front of his cab, causing damage minors. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Juett tractor-trailer was estimated at $5,000.
• On Wednesday June 1, an SUV driven by Juanita Carol Hake, 60, of Radcliffe, was traveling west on Highway 30 when it struck a deer that entered the roadway, causing crippling damage to the front. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Hake SUV was estimated at $10,000.
